What to expect from discovery call?

Questions I hear most often from prospective clients.

45 minutes. Structured: 10 minutes on the situation, 20 minutes on the mandate and scope, 15 minutes on fit, logistics and next steps.

Nothing formal. A short written brief of the situation is helpful if you have one. If not, we cover it in the conversation.

Yes. All conversations are treated as confidential by default. Written NDA is signed before any detailed commercial discussion or document exchange.

If the fit is right on both sides, I send a written proposal within one week: scope, timeline, milestones, commercial terms and references. If the fit is not right, I say so directly and, where I can, refer you to someone better suited.

Fixed-fee diagnostic phase (1–2 weeks), followed by a monthly retainer during execution, with a defined end date. All commercial terms agreed in writing before engagement begins.
